有一事我曾求主、今仍祈求、即使我一生居於主殿、瞻仰主之榮美、在主殿朝覲主、

求主惟一事。足以慰幽衷。終身居主宅。陶然醉春風。逍遙聖殿裏。瞻仰樂無窮。

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

I’m asking the Lord for only one thing. Here is what I want. I want to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. I want to look at the beauty of the Lord. I want to worship him in his temple.

Jehovah, I love the habitation of thy house, And the place where thy glory dwelleth.

Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple.

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: They will be still praising thee.[ Selah

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

So have I looked upon thee in the sanctuary, To see thy power and thy glory.Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.So will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips;

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; My heart said unto thee, Thy face, Jehovah, will I seek.

but one thing is needful: for Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And establish thou the work of our hands upon us; Yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
