Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.

『時既至、將與義塞約如次：欲將吾誡命、置彼腔子裏；真諦與妙道、深深銘腑肺。』又曰：『吾願寬宥其諸惡、不欲再念其罪行。』夫諸罪既蒙寬赦、自不復有贖罪之祭矣。

然富於慈悲之天主、按其愛人之大德、緣基督之偉功、拔吾人於罪中、起吾人於已死、俾吾人得與基督同享生命；且天主實已賜吾人托基督而復活、托基督而位於諸天之上矣。夫天主之所以為此者、乃欲假吾人因基督耶穌而受之慈惠、以昭示其無窮之恩德於後世耳。蓋爾因信而蒙救、實憑聖寵；凡此皆非爾所固有、純出天主之惠賜。

且沐以芳澤、俾克配其愛子；此乃所以彰其大德也、吾人托庇聖子、仰賴寶血、得蒙拯贖、滌除夙穢；實憑天主之豐恩厚澤。

長跪問我主。何時救伶仃。

吾願寬宥其諸惡、不欲再念其罪行。」』

願其父母罪。常為主所憶。

平生懷刻薄。好乘人之急。欺壓傷心人。窮民供殘殺。

先民之罪。莫歸斯世。開爾慈懷。憫我造次。

一人抱病已三十有八載矣、

祈賜小子。寵恩優渥。教我以禮。用以自縮。

禍福托主手。脫我於仇人。

惟望我恩主。援手昭慈臆。

後耶穌遇之殿中、諭之曰：『汝茲已見康復、勿再犯罪、恐後患有甚焉者！』
