So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience;

Look down from heaven and see from Your holy and glorious lofty habitation; Where are Your zeal and Your mighty deeds? The stirrings of Your heart and Your compassion are restrained toward me.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

He has remembered His graciousness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

And His mercy is to generation after generation Toward those who fear Him.

Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with favor and compassion;

Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.You will give truth to Jacob And favor to Abraham, Which You swore to our forefathers From the days of old.

You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me.

But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?

Salvation from our enemies, And from the hand of all who hate us;To show mercy to our fathers, And to remember His holy covenant,

Will the Lord reject forever? And will He never be favorable again?Has His favor ceased forever? Has His promise come to an end forever?Has God forgotten to be gracious, Or has He in anger withdrawn His compassion? SelahThen I said,“ It is my grief, That the right hand of the Most High has changed.”I shall remember the deeds of the Lord; I will certainly remember Your wonders of old.I will meditate on all Your work, And on Your deeds with thanksgiving.

“ Lord God, do not turn away the face of Your anointed; remember Your faithfulness to Your servant David.”

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, For His mercy is everlasting.

He has given help to His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy,

And He remembered His covenant for their sake, And relented according to the greatness of His mercy.

You, in Your great compassion, Did not abandon them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, To guide them on their way, Nor the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go.

But as for me, my prayer is to You, Lord, at an acceptable time; God, in the greatness of Your mercy, Answer me with Your saving truth.

Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion,
