I trust in you. Don’t let me be put to shame. Don’t let my enemies win the battle over me.

O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.

My God, I trust in you. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.

My God, in You I trust, Do not let me be ashamed; Do not let my enemies rejoice over me.

O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.

O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

My God, I trust in You. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.

My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me!

My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.

I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.

As Scripture says,“ Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame.

To you they cried out and were saved; in you they trusted and were not put to shame.

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.

Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground; they will lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed.”

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,and my enemy will say,“ I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

How long, Lord, will the wicked, how long will the wicked be jubilant?

“ I will defend this city and save it, for my sake and for the sake of David my servant!”

Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Lord, are the only God.”

Lord my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me,

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.

For in Scripture it says:“ See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

Be merciful to me, my God, for my enemies are in hot pursuit; all day long they press their attack.

This is what the king says: Do not let Hezekiah deceive you. He cannot deliver you!Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in the Lord when he says,‘ The Lord will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.’“ Do not listen to Hezekiah. This is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace with me and come out to me. Then each of you will eat fruit from your own vine and fig tree and drink water from your own cistern,until I come and take you to a land like your own— a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.“ Do not let Hezekiah mislead you when he says,‘ The Lord will deliver us.’ Have the gods of any nations ever delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria?Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Have they rescued Samaria from my hand?Who of all the gods of these countries have been able to save their lands from me? How then can the Lord deliver Jerusalem from my hand?”

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?

“ Say to Hezekiah king of Judah: Do not let the god you depend on deceive you when he says,‘ Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.’

Do not let those gloat over me who are my enemies without cause; do not let those who hate me without reason maliciously wink the eye.They do not speak peaceably, but devise false accusations against those who live quietly in the land.They sneer at me and say,“ Aha! Aha! With our own eyes we have seen it.”Lord, you have seen this; do not be silent. Do not be far from me, Lord.Awake, and rise to my defense! Contend for me, my God and Lord.Vindicate me in your righteousness, Lord my God; do not let them gloat over me.Do not let them think,“ Aha, just what we wanted!” or say,“ We have swallowed him up.”

“ He trusts in the Lord,” they say,“ let the Lord rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him.”

The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.
