这事以后，耶稣知道各样的事已经成了，为要使经上的话应验，就说：“我渴了。”

所以，我要使他与位大的同份，与强盛的均分掳物。因为他将命倾倒，以致于死；他也被列在罪犯之中。他却担当多人的罪，又为罪犯代求。

他们拿苦胆给我当食物；我渴了，他们拿醋给我喝。

我因呼求困乏，喉咙发干；我因等候神，眼睛失明。

我心跳动，我力衰微，连我眼中的光也没有了。

我闭口不认罪的时候，因终日唉哼而骨头枯干。黑夜白日，你的手在我身上沉重；我的精力耗尽，如同夏天的干旱。细拉

我当日所领受又传给你们的：第一，就是基督照圣经所说，为我们的罪死了，

你掩面，它们便惊惶；你收回它们的气，它们就死亡，归于尘土。

喜乐的心乃是良药；忧伤的灵使骨枯干。

首领静默无声，舌头贴住上膛。

耶稣又大声喊叫，气就断了。

睡在尘埃中的，必有多人复醒。其中有得永生的，有受羞辱永远被憎恶的。

凡有血气的就必一同死亡；世人必仍归尘土。

亚伯拉罕说：“我虽然是灰尘，还敢对主说话。

求你记念，制造我如抟泥一般，你还要使我归于尘土吗？

“我被害流血，下到坑中，有什么益处呢？尘土岂能称赞你，传说你的诚实吗？

你必汗流满面才得糊口，直到你归了土，因为你是从土而出的。你本是尘土，仍要归于尘土。”

为何不赦免我的过犯，除掉我的罪孽？我现今要躺卧在尘土中；你要殷勤地寻找我，我却不在了。”

吃奶孩子的舌头因干渴贴住上膛；孩童求饼，无人擘给他们。
