NUN. Thy word[ is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

[ He is] the Rock, his work[ is] perfect: for all his ways[ are] judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right[ is] he.

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth[ therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word,[ it is] because[ there is] no light in them.

To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what[ is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary[ food].

[ As for] God, his way[ is] perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he[ is] a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Give ear, O my people,[ to] my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.We will not hide[ them] from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:That the generation to come might know[ them, even] the children[ which] should be born;[ who] should arise and declare[ them] to their children:That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:

And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of[ that which is] before the priests the Levites:And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment,[ to] the right hand, or[ to] the left: to the end that he may prolong[ his] days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.He hath not dealt so with any nation: and[ as for his] judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

That by two immutable things, in which[ it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:Which[ hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
