Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me:[ yet] thy commandments[ are] my delights.

That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law[ is] within my heart.

What shall we say then?[ Is] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make[ them] know the statutes of God, and his laws.

AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed[ is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God,[ it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed[ is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:

[ Is] the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,And knowest[ his] will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness,[ those that] remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.

Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that[ is] within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.

And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that[ is] within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that[ are] among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.
