你曾開闢泉源和溪流，又使長流不息的江河乾涸。

看哪！耶和華的名從遠方而來，他的怒氣燒起，濃煙上騰；他的嘴唇充滿忿怒，他的舌頭像吞滅的火。他的氣息如漲溢的河水，直漲到頸項，並要用毀滅的篩把列國篩淨，又在眾民口中放入使人步向滅亡的嚼環。

因為陀斐特那燒著的火早已安排好了，是為君王預備的，又深又寬；其中所堆的，是火和許多的柴；耶和華的氣像一股硫磺火，把它燃點起來。

他們因神的氣息而滅亡，因他的怒氣而消滅。

你把大地堅立在根基上，使地永永遠遠不動搖。

抬全地之主耶和華約櫃的祭司的腳掌一踏進約旦河水裡，約旦河的水必被截斷，那從上游流下來的水必立起成壘。”人民離開帳棚出發，要過約旦河的時候，抬約櫃的祭司在人民的前面。抬約櫃的祭司來到約旦河，他們的腳碰到水邊的時候（原來約旦河水在收割的日子，常是漲過兩岸的），水就停住了，那從上游流下來的水立起成壘，在很遠的地方，就是在撒拉但旁邊的亞當城那裡停住；那往下流入亞拉巴海，就是鹽海的水完全被截斷；於是人民就在耶利哥的對面過了河。

看哪，我要使他的心驚顫（“使他的心驚顫”原文作“放一個靈在他裡面”），他將聽見消息，就退回自己的地方去；我要使他在自己的國土倒在刀下。’”

大山啊！你們要聽耶和華的爭辯。大地永久的根基啊！你們要聽，因為耶和華與他的子民爭辯，和以色列爭論。

雅各的神啊！因你的斥責，坐車的和騎馬的都沉睡了。

我奠定大地根基的時候，你在哪裡呢？你若有聰明，就只管說吧。你一定曉得是誰定大地的尺度，是誰把準繩拉在大地之上？地的基礎奠在哪裡，地的角石是誰安放的？

我下沉直到山麓，大地的門閂把我永遠關閉；耶和華我的神啊！你卻把我的性命從坑中拉上來。
