Hear me, Lord, my plea is just; listen to my cry. Hear my prayer— it does not rise from deceitful lips.

主既救我於眾民之背叛兮。又立我為萬國之君。作新民以事我兮。且非我素識之人。

吾人若問心有疚、懇切自訟、則應念天主慈量大於吾心、而無所不諒也。

夫其解我之倒懸兮。為愛我之故。

「斯民敬我以唇舌、其心與我隔天淵；

雅瑋吾主宰。傾耳聽我禱。
