予心欣喜、載歡載忭、惟我此身、歸土有望、

因此我心歡欣、我靈我靈或作我體之榮喜樂、我身軀亦享安康、

魂安魄亦舒。

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,

So my heart is glad. Joy is on my tongue. My body also will be secure.

to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!

Wake up, my glory! Wake up, lute and harp! I will wake up the dawn.

You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.

My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.

But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.

The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the righteous has a refuge.

So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest!And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.For every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and sea creature, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind;but nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men who are made in the image of God.

In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in your sight.”Turning to the disciples, he said,“ All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”

Your dead shall live. My dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth will cast out the departed spirits.

If a man dies, will he live again? I would wait all the days of my warfare, until my release should come.You would call, and I would answer you. You would have a desire for the work of your hands.

After my skin is destroyed, then I will see God in my flesh,whom I, even I, will see on my side. My eyes will see, and not as a stranger.“ My heart is consumed within me.
