願那尋索我命的，蒙羞受辱！願那謀害我的，退後羞愧！

他對我說：「人子啊，這些骸骨就是以色列全家。他們說：『看哪，我們的骨頭枯乾了，我們的指望失去了，我們滅絕淨盡了！』

使我脫離欺壓我的惡人，脫離那圍困我要害我命的仇敵。他們的心被油脂包裹，用口說驕傲的話。他們追逼我，現在他們圍困了我們，瞪着眼，要把我們推倒在地。他像獅子要貪吃獵物，又像少壯獅子蹲伏在暗處。耶和華啊，求你興起，前去迎敵，把他打倒！求你用你的刀救我的命脫離惡人。

我被遺忘，如同死人，無人記念；我好像破碎的器皿。我聽見許多人的毀謗，四圍盡是驚嚇；他們一同商議攻擊我，圖謀害我的性命。

就任憑仇敵追趕我，直到追上，把我的性命踏在地上，使我的榮耀歸於灰塵。（細拉）
