耶和華我的神啊！我已經投靠了你，求你拯救我脫離所有追趕我的人。求你搭救我，免得他們像獅子一般把我撕裂，把我撕碎的時候，也沒有人搭救。

願那些尋索我命的，蒙羞受辱；願設計陷害我的，退後羞愧。

他對我說：“人子啊！這些骸骨就是以色列全家；他們常說：‘我們的骸骨枯乾了，我們的盼望消失了；我們都滅亡了。’

使我脫離那些欺壓我的惡人，脫離那些圍繞我的死敵。他們閉塞了憐憫的心（“憐憫的心”原文作“他們的脂油”），口裡說出驕傲的話。他們追蹤我，現在把我圍困了（“他們追蹤我，現在把我圍困了”原文作“他們圍困了我們的腳步”）；他們瞪著眼，要把我推倒在地上。他們像急於撕碎獵物的獅子，又像蹲伏在隱密處的幼獅。耶和華啊！求你起來，迎面攻擊他們，把他們打倒；用你的刀救我的命脫離惡人。

我被人完全忘記，如同死了的人，我好像破碎的器皿，我聽見許多人的毀謗，四周都有驚嚇；他們一同商議攻擊我，圖謀要取我的性命。

就任憑仇敵追趕我，直到追上，把我的性命踐踏在地上，使我的光榮歸於塵土。（細拉）
