憑善人責我、我以為恩惠、懲治我、我以為沐首之膏、再三責我、我首決然不避、彼遭患難、我便祈禱、

寧受賢人責。苦口是良藥。莫受惡人諛。蜜中含辛螫。任憑彼作惡。吾禱終不輟。

Let a righteous man strike me— that is a kindness; let him rebuke me— that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.

If a godly person hit me, it would be an act of kindness. If they would correct me, it would be like pouring olive oil on my head. I wouldn’t say no to it. I will always pray against the things that sinful people do.

智者忠告而善道之、使人順受、猶金製耳環物飾。

是父母之命、照爾若輝光之燭、責善之言、導爾入生命之途。

然彼得至安提阿時、有可責處、我面詰之、蓋雅各遣人未至、彼得與異邦人同食、及至、彼得畏受割者、則出而避之、其餘猶太人相率為偽、誘巴拿巴、亦效尤焉、我見其行不正、不遵福音真理、於眾前語彼得云、爾猶太人也、若從異邦、不從猶太人、則又何使異邦人從猶太人乎、

擊侮慢、則愚人知警、諫明哲、使進於道。

無良謀、事乃敗、集眾議、事以成。

言時、王阻之、曰、爾非言官、諫我奚為、獨不畏罪乎。先知不敢復諫、曰、爾弗聽從、我知上帝必敗爾。

愛人之心、藏諸衷曲、不如責人以善、直言無隱。仇讎雖與我接吻、亦知其偽、友朋雖出言傷予、益見其直。

當斯時、我主必追憶今日之事、不伸己冤、不流無辜之血、心不窒礙、毫無遺憾。我主既蒙耶和華善待、則垂念爾婢。大闢曰、以色列族之上帝耶和華、今日遣爾迎我、當頌美之。爾今日勸我、不流血、不伸冤、願得純嘏。以色列族之上帝耶和華、使我無加害於爾、我指上帝而誓、如爾不速來晉接、則拿八所有、我必攻毀、至於明晨、不遺一男。

惟我語汝、敵爾者愛之、詛爾者祝之、憾爾者善視之、陷害窘逐爾者、為之祈禱、

藐父訓者愚、聽格言者智。

規諫侮慢者、必為所憾、勸勉智慧者、可蒙其愛。訓迪智人、則其智日加、指示義人、則其學日進。

見愛於我者、我譴責之、故當銳志悔改、

爾為我肆筵設席、沐我以膏兮、予之罍盈兮、使敵之目睹兮、

求爾施恩、範衛郇邑、使耶路撒冷、建置城垣兮、

是時先見者哈拿尼、覲猶大王亞撒、告之曰、因爾恃亞蘭王、不爾上帝耶和華是賴、故不克亞蘭軍。古實人、路庇人、軍勢浩大、車騎眾多、因爾恃耶和華、故耶和華使爾戰勝之。耶和華遍覽天下、見誠心從之者、則力庇焉。爾弗以之是賴、不智孰甚、嗣後戰鬥、靡有已時。亞撒震怒、幽先見者於獄、虐遇其民。

耶和華兮、必施恩於作善之人、錫福於誠慤之士兮、

人或遘疾、當請會之長老、托主名以膏膏之、代為祈禱、篤信而祈、得主醫之、疾可瘳、雖素有罪、亦蒙矜宥、宜各自言其罪、代之祈禱、以望疾瘳、蓋義者勤求無已、獲益不淺、

拿單告大闢曰、作此者爾也。以色列族之上帝耶和華云、我沐爾以膏、為以色列王、援爾於掃羅手、得據爾主之業、取爾主之妻、以以色列猶大二族、畀爾治理、爾猶以為寡、我更給爾貨財、難以悉計。何藐視我命、行惡於我前、藉亞捫族之刃、殺赫人烏利亞、而取其妻為妻。爾既藐視我、以赫人烏利亞之妻為妻、人必以刃擊爾家、歷久不已。耶和華又云、我必使惡人生於爾家、爾之骨肉奪爾嬪妃、白晝宣淫、為爾目擊。爾隱行是惡、我將於以色列族前顯以報爾。大闢曰、我犯罪於耶和華。拿單曰、耶和華已宥爾罪、不至死亡。

願主矜恤阿尼色弗家、彼屢慰我、不以我縲絏為恥、在羅馬時、多方求我、至於得見、願主恩賜矜恤之、聿至乃日、昔在以弗所、阿尼色弗事我、爾知之矣、
