惟任義人擊我、我以為慈、任其責我、如膏膏首、勿容我首卻之、而我仍以祈禱、禦惡人之邪僻兮、

義者責我、我以為仁慈、視若香膏、屢膏余首、無不悅懌、余有所祈、勿為惡者株連兮。

憑善人責我、我以為恩惠、懲治我、我以為沐首之膏、再三責我、我首決然不避、彼遭患難、我便祈禱、

寧受賢人責。苦口是良藥。莫受惡人諛。蜜中含辛螫。任憑彼作惡。吾禱終不輟。

Let a righteous man strike me— that is a kindness; let him rebuke me— that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.

If a godly person hit me, it would be an act of kindness. If they would correct me, it would be like pouring olive oil on my head. I wouldn’t say no to it. I will always pray against the things that sinful people do.

Let a righteous man strike me— it is a kindness; let him rebuke me— it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds.

Let the godly strike me! It will be a kindness! If they correct me, it is soothing medicine. Don’t let me refuse it. But I pray constantly against the wicked and their deeds.

聽智慧人的斥責，好過聽愚昧人的歌唱，

弟兄們，一個人無論被任何過犯所勝，你們屬靈的人都要以溫柔的心靈把這樣的人挽回過來；但是你自己要留心，免得你也受試探。

在聽從者的耳中，智慧的責備就如金環和黃金飾品。

因為誡命是燈，法則是光，出於管教的責備是生命的道路，

不過磯法來到安提阿的時候，我曾當面抵擋他，因為他有該責備的地方。原來，從雅各那裡來的一些人到達之前，磯法與外邦人一起吃飯；可是那些人一到，他因為怕那些割禮派的人，就退縮，與外邦人分開了。其餘的猶太人也跟著他裝假，以致連巴拿巴也被他們的偽善引入歧途。但我一看見他們的行為不符合福音的真理，就在大家面前對磯法說：「你身為猶太人，如果像外邦人而不像猶太人那樣生活，怎麼還要強求外邦人像猶太人一樣呢？」

責打譏諷者，能使無知的人變精明；責備有悟性的人，他就能領悟知識。

不經商議，計策必敗；謀士眾多，計策成就。

當面的責備，好過隱藏的愛。朋友所加的創傷，出於真誠；仇敵連連的親吻，卻是多餘。

我主就不會因無故殺人流血、親手報仇而心裡內疚、良心受責備。耶和華賜福我主的時候，求你記念你的女僕。」大衛對婭比蓋說：「耶和華以色列的神是當受頌讚的！因他今天派遣了你來迎接我。你的見識是當受稱讚的，你也當受稱讚，因為你今天阻止了我流人的血，阻止了我親手報仇。我指著那阻止我加害你的以色列之神耶和華的永生起誓：要不是你趕來迎接我，到早晨天亮時，屬於納巴爾的男丁一個也不會存留！」

但是我告訴你們：要愛你們的敵人，為那些逼迫你們的人禱告，

愚妄人藐視父親的管教；而接受責備的是精明人。

不要責備譏諷者，免得他恨你；要責備智慧人，他必愛你。指教智慧人，他就更有智慧；教導義人，他就增添學問。

凡是我所愛的，我都責備、管教。所以你應當熱心，應當悔改。

當著我敵人的面，你在我面前擺設筵席；你用油膏了我的頭，使我的杯滿溢。

求你以你的恩典善待錫安，建造耶路撒冷的城牆。

耶和華啊，求你善待好人，善待心裡正直的人！

你們中間誰患病，就應該請教會的長老們來，讓他們奉主的名用油來膏抹他、為他禱告。出於信的祈求，將會救那病人；主將使他起來；即使他犯了罪，也將被赦免。所以你們當彼此認罪，彼此代求，好使你們得痊癒。義人所做的祈禱是大有力量的。

拿單對大衛說：「你就是那人！耶和華以色列的神如此說：『我膏立你為以色列的王，解救你脫離掃羅的手。我把你主人的家交給你，把你主人的妃嬪交在你懷中，又把以色列和猶大家交給了你。如果這些還不夠，我會增添給你更多；但你為什麼藐視耶和華的話，做他眼中看為惡的事呢？你用刀劍擊殺了赫提人烏利亞，又娶他的妻子作你的妻子，你藉著亞捫人的刀劍殺了他！現在，刀劍必永不離開你的家，因為你藐視了我，娶了赫提人烏利亞的妻子作你的妻子。』「耶和華如此說：『看哪，我必從你家裡興起災禍攻擊你。我將在你眼前把你的妃嬪奪去，交給在你身邊的人，他會在日光之下、在你眼前與你的妃嬪同睡。你雖然在暗中行事，我卻要在全體以色列人面前，在日光之下施行這報應。』」大衛對拿單說：「我對耶和華犯了罪！」拿單對大衛說：「耶和華已經除去你的罪，你不會死。

願主施憐憫給奧尼斯弗羅的家人，因為他多次使我神清氣爽，也沒有以我的鎖鏈為恥；相反，他一到羅馬，就殷切地尋找我，並且找到了。願主使他在那日子得到主的憐憫！至於他在以弗所的一切服事工作，你知道得更清楚。
