願我之禱告、如香煙達至主前、我舉手祈求、願主視為晚祭、

向主獻心禱。宛如薦馨香。舉手抒仰慕。應同晚祭芳。

May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.

May my prayer come to you like the sweet smell of incense. When I lift up my hands in prayer, may it be like the evening sacrifice.

Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!

Accept my prayer as incense offered to you, and my upraised hands as an evening offering.

Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, When I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

O Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; In the morning will I order my prayer unto thee, and will keep watch.

according to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to enter into the temple of the Lord and burn incense.And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the hour of incense.

And Aaron shall burn thereon incense of sweet spices: every morning, when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn it.And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before Jehovah throughout your generations.Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt- offering, nor meal- offering; and ye shall pour no drink- offering thereon.

Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the trespass of them of the captivity; and I sat confounded until the evening oblation.

And Aaron shall present the bullock of the sin- offering, which is for himself, and shall make atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin- offering which is for himself.And he shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before Jehovah, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil:and he shall put the incense upon the fire before Jehovah, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy- seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:

And fire came forth from Jehovah, and devoured the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take they censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and lay incense thereon, and carry it quickly unto the congregation, and make atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from Jehovah; the plague is begun.And Aaron took as Moses spake, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on the incense, and made atonement for the people.And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
