The wicked conceive evil; they are pregnant with trouble and give birth to lies.They dig a deep pit to trap others, then fall into it themselves.The trouble they make for others backfires on them. The violence they plan falls on their own heads.

The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

The wicked are trapped by their own words, but the godly escape such trouble.

haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent,

Trouble chases sinners, while blessings reward the righteous.

The crooked heart will not prosper; the lying tongue tumbles into trouble.

But the wicked are doomed, for they will get exactly what they deserve.
