Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

A desire accomplished is sweet to the soul, But it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.

They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, Yet his foolishness will not depart from him.

Please, let not my Lord regard this scoundrel Nabal. For as his name is, so is he: Nabal is his name, and folly is with him! But I, your maidservant, did not see the young men of my Lord whom you sent.

Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.

Alas, sinful nation, A people laden with iniquity, A brood of evildoers, Children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the Lord, They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel, They have turned away backward.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

How much less man, who is abominable and filthy, Who drinks iniquity like water!

And you say,‘ What does God know? Can He judge through the deep darkness?

For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

They utter speech, and speak insolent things; All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves.They break in pieces Your people, O Lord, And afflict Your heritage.They slay the widow and the stranger, And murder the fatherless.Yet they say,“ The Lord does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob understand.”Understand, you senseless among the people; And you fools, when will you be wise?

An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.For he flatters himself in his own eyes, When he finds out his iniquity and when he hates.The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.He devises wickedness on his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil.

Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The goodness of God endures continually.Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.You love evil more than good, Lying rather than speaking righteousness. SelahYou love all devouring words, You deceitful tongue.God shall likewise destroy you forever; He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, And uproot you from the land of the living.
