Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me.I will bear the indignation of the Lord, Because I have sinned against Him, Until He pleads my case And executes justice for me. Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle—My lovingkindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.

Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope.This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.

That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me.

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; Suddenly they shall be wounded.So He will make them stumble over their own tongue; All who see them shall flee away.

You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.

All who hate me whisper together against me; Against me they devise my hurt.“ An evil disease,” they say,“ clings to him. And now that he lies down, he will rise up no more.”

For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would fail before Me, And the souls which I have made.

Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me.Take hold of shield and buckler, And stand up for my help.Also draw out the spear, And stop those who pursue me. Say to my soul,“ I am your salvation.”

Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.

When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me.
