He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

我命既出、霧起地極、雲集穹蒼、電閃雨下、風藏府庫、我能出之。

權衡四風、量度諸水、為雨露立其法、為雷電定其程。

電閃雹降、雪飄霞起、狂風驟作、俱遵耶和華之命兮、

耶和華使大風驟起、海盪甚、舟幾溺、

沛甘霖、潤土壤、

撒馬利亞地歲大饑、越至三年、耶和華命以利亞、曰、我將降雨於斯土、汝可往見亞哈、以利亞遵命而行。

又告亞哈曰、當起飲食、霖雨其零、我聞其聲。亞哈乃往、式飲式食、惟以利亞陟加密山巔、俯伏於地、屈首至足、告其僕曰、汝往哉、可觀於海。既觀而反曰、絶無一物在焉。曰、再往、至七次乃已。迨及七次、則反曰、有雲甚小、自海而起、大約人掌。曰、往告亞哈云、當備車而往、恐為雨所阻。其間風雲驟起、黑蔽霄漢、沛然下雨、亞哈乘車、往耶斯烈、

風任意而吹、聽其聲、不知何來何往、由聖神生者亦若是、

雪雹藏諸府庫、爾豈見之、患難之時、以殛斯民。輝光何以四射、東風何以孔布、誰沛霖雨、誰發雷電。使空曠之野、無人之所、亦被膏澤、荒土草木、甲坼芽萌乎。誰致雨露、

異邦人所奉之偶像、豈能使天沛以膏澤、降以甘霖、爾耶和華為我上帝、肇造萬物、故我賴爾。
