I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

I rejoiced with those who said to me,“ Let us go to the house of the Lord.”

And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

For a day in thy courts[ is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Behold, bless ye the LORD, all[ ye] servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.

How amiable[ are] thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

O God, thou[ art] my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;To see thy power and thy glory, so[ as] I have seen thee in the sanctuary.Because thy lovingkindness[ is] better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

Blessed[ is] every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they[ are] the rejoicing of my heart.

They that trust in the LORD[ shall be] as mount Zion,[ which] cannot be removed,[ but] abideth for ever.

When I remember these[ things], I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh[ but] in vain.

LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

If[ it had not been] the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

Behold, how good and how pleasant[ it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!

We took sweet counsel together,[ and] walked unto the house of God in company.

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward,[ saying], Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant[ that] shall not be forgotten.

For there shall be a day,[ that] the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

And the inhabitants of one[ city] shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days[ it shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard[ that] God[ is] with you.
