Save me, for I am yours; I have sought out your precepts.

For this night an angel of the God I belong to and serve stood by me,and said,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. And, look! God has graciously given you all those who are sailing with you.’

Help me understand the meaning of Your precepts so that I can meditate on Your wonders.

Protect my life, for I am faithful. You are my God; save Your servant who trusts in You.

How I long for Your precepts! Give me life through Your righteousness.

May Your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen Your precepts.

This is the word of the Lord your Maker who formed you from the womb; He will help you: Do not fear; Jacob is My servant; I have chosen Jeshurun.

Yet Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we all are the work of Your hands.Lord, do not be terribly angry or remember our iniquity forever. Please look— all of us are Your people!Your holy cities have become a wilderness; Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.

But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, descendant of Abraham, My friend—I brought you from the ends of the earth and called you from its farthest corners. I said to you: You are My servant; I have chosen you and not rejected you.Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.

“ Come up and help me. We will attack Gibeon, because they have made peace with Joshua and the Israelites.”So the five Amorite kings— the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish, and Eglon— joined forces, advanced with all their armies, besieged Gibeon, and fought against it.Then the men of Gibeon sent word to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal:“ Don’t abandon your servants. Come quickly and save us! Help us, for all the Amorite kings living in the hill country have joined forces against us.”

Yahweh your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy.”
