我窮目力、望爾踐言、爾慰藉予、不知何時兮、

我盼慕主之應許、盼得眼穿、曰、主何時安慰我、

望眼欲穿。嗣音何遲。

I am weary with my crying; my throat is parched; My eyes fail while I wait for my God.

My eyes fail with longing for Your salvation, And for Your righteous word.

Do return, Lord; how long will it be? And be sorry for Your servants.Satisfy us in the morning with Your graciousness, That we may sing for joy and rejoice all our days.Make us glad according to the days You have afflicted us, And the years we have seen evil.

Show me a sign of good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

Your sons and your daughters will be given to another people, while your eyes look on and long for them constantly; but there will be nothing you can do.
