俾予遠離異端、而賜以律法兮、

求主使我離奸詐之道途、恩賜我以主之律法、

示以眞道。庶遠邪說。

Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.

Keep me from cheating and telling lies. Be kind to me and teach me your law.

Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!

Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.

Keep me from the way of deceit and graciously give me your instruction.

Remove the false way from me, And graciously grant me Your Law.

Remove from me the way of lying, And grant me Your law graciously.

Remove from me the way of falsehood; And grant me thy law graciously.

For without[ are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

For this[ is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

I hate and abhor lying:[ but] thy law do I love.

They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.Incline not my heart to[ any] evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:

O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and[ things] wherein[ there is] no profit.

He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say,[ Is there] not a lie in my right hand?

Therefore I esteem all[ thy] precepts[ concerning] all[ things to be] right;[ and] I hate every false way.

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

But this[ shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity;[ and] quicken thou me in thy way.
