俾予遠離異端、而賜以律法兮、

求主使我離奸詐之道途、恩賜我以主之律法、

示以眞道。庶遠邪說。

Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.

Keep me from cheating and telling lies. Be kind to me and teach me your law.

Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!

Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.

Remove the false way from me, And graciously grant me Your Law.

Remove from me the way of lying, And grant me Your law graciously.

Remove from me the way of falsehood; And grant me thy law graciously.

Keep me from the way of deceit and graciously give me Your instruction.

Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

Remove me from the path of deceit! Graciously give me your law!

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.And each person will not teach his fellow citizen, and each his brother or sister, saying,“ Know the Lord,” because they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them.

I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love your instruction.

Those who cherish worthless idols abandon their faithful love,

I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every false way.

If only my ways were committed to keeping your statutes!

LORD, set up a guard for my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.Do not let my heart turn to any evil thing or perform wicked acts with evildoers. Do not let me feast on their delicacies.

Keep falsehood and deceitful words far from me. Give me neither poverty nor wealth; feed me with the food I need.

LORD, my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in a time of distress, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and they will say,“ Our ancestors inherited only lies, worthless idols of no benefit at all.”

He feeds on ashes. His deceived mind has led him astray, and he cannot rescue himself, or say,“ Isn’t there a lie in my right hand?”

I carefully follow all your precepts and hate every false way.

to take off your former way of life, the old self that is corrupted by deceitful desires,to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,and to put on the new self, the one created according to God’s likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.Therefore, putting away lying, speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, because we are members of one another.

“ Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”— the LORD’s declaration.“ I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the LORD,’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the LORD’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their iniquity and never again remember their sin.

Turn my eyes from looking at what is worthless; give me life in your ways.
