We give thanks to You, God; we give thanks to You, for Your name is near. People tell about Your wonderful works.

The decrees You issue are righteous and altogether trustworthy.

The Lord is near the brokenhearted; He saves those crushed in spirit.

For what great nation is there that has a god near to it as the Lord our God is to us whenever we call to Him?

See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name Him Immanuel, which is translated“ God is with us.”
