My God, incline Your ear and hear! Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we are not presenting our pleas before You based on any merits of our own, but based on Your great compassion.

Turn to me and be gracious to me, As is right for those who love Your name.

May Your favor comfort me, According to Your word to Your servant.May Your compassion come to me so that I may live, For Your Law is my delight.

I have told of my ways, and You have answered me; Teach me Your statutes.

Israel, wait for the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption.

Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.For the sake of Your name, Lord, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.And in Your faithfulness, destroy my enemies, And eliminate all those who attack my soul, For I am Your servant.

Answer me, Lord, for Your mercy is good; According to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me,

Do not hold us responsible for the guilty deeds of our forefathers; Let Your compassion come quickly to meet us, For we have become very low.

But as for me, my prayer is to You, Lord, at an acceptable time; God, in the greatness of Your mercy, Answer me with Your saving truth.

He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our guilty deeds.

Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.

But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’

May Your favor also come to me, Lord, Your salvation according to Your word;
