I trusted in the Lord when I said,“ I am greatly afflicted”;

我因信，所以如此说话；“我受了极大的困苦。”

我信，尽管我说：“我受了极大的困苦。”

我相信，所以才说：“我受尽了痛苦。”

我虽然说：“我受了极大的痛苦”，但我仍然相信。

尽管我曾说：“我受了极大的苦待”，尽管我曾在慌乱中说：“所有的人都是说谎的”，我仍然相信。

我因信，所以如此說話；我受了極大的困苦。

我信，儘管我說：「我受了極大的困苦。」

我信，儘管我說：「我受了極大的困苦。」

我相信，所以才說：「我受盡了痛苦。」

我雖然說：“我受了極大的痛苦”，但我仍然相信。

我雖說過：『我受了極大苦難』，我仍繼續相信；

儘管我曾說：「我受了極大的苦待」，儘管我曾在慌亂中說：「所有的人都是說謊的」，我仍然相信。

我因信而言此、我遭大難兮、

我信而言也、我甚迫切兮、

我雖云極受苦難、我仍然信賴、

昔在患難中。自言陷絕境。

I trusted in the Lord even when I said to myself,“ I am in great pain.”

I believed, even when I spoke:“ I am greatly afflicted”;

I believed in you, so I said,“ I am deeply troubled, Lord.”

I believed, even when I said,“ I am severely oppressed.”

I believed when I said,“ I am greatly afflicted.”

I believed, therefore I spoke,“ I am greatly afflicted.”

I believe, for I will speak: I was greatly afflicted:

I believed, even when I said,“ I am severely afflicted.”

I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

I had faith when I said,“ I am severely oppressed.”

I believed, therefore I said,“ I was greatly afflicted.”

It is written:“ I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak,

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

A false witness will perish, but a careful listener will testify successfully.

For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothesand said to the entire Israelite assembly,“ The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good.If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us.Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”

For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
