He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, into his bones like oil.

They cursed others as easily as they put on clothes. Cursing was as natural to them as getting a drink of water or putting olive oil on their bodies.

He clothed himself with cursing as his coat; may it soak into his body like water, like oil into his bones!

故彼厥志驕肆、厥心剛愎、如懸金索、如衣麗服兮、

使此致詛之水、苦入汝腹中、令汝髀消腹鼓。婦宜曰、固所願也、固所願也。

爾惟潔淨、為上帝所選所愛之民、故當矜憫、仁慈、謙讓、溫柔、忍耐、

時、賣師猶大見耶穌定罪、則悔、反其金三十、與祭司諸長長老曰、我賣無辜者之血、有罪矣、僉曰、於我何與、爾自當之、猶大擲金於殿、退而自縊、

既飲之後、如婦已玷其身、獲罪於夫、則致詛之水苦入其中、使其腹鼓髀消、見詛於民中。

今則去忿怒、暴戾、而謗讟淫辭、不出於口、

人子將歸、如記所載、惟賣人子者、有禍乎、其人不生為幸、

我以仁義為衣服、以公正為冠冕、

以任使徒職、蓋猶大離此職、往其所矣、

乃竟以不義之償購田、身仆腹裂腸流、

惡譬諸食物、甫入口則甚甘、藏於舌間、久含不棄、下至腹、味殊苦、如蝮之膽。其平日並吞財貨、上帝必使復吐之。或飲蛇毒而亡、或為蝮螫而死。

少者當服長老、彼此相順、必以謙讓為衣服、驕泰者、上帝擯斥、卑遜者、上帝賜恩、

其衷懷不能恬適、其嗜好不能長存。其所食無餘、其享福不永。即當隆盛之時、必遇困厄、受其虐遇者、必群起而攻擊。彼既飽其貪饕、上帝震怒、降災如下雨、使之備嘗。
