With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

With your help we will win the battle. You will walk all over our enemies.

Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man.It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes.All the nations surrounded me, but in Yahweh’s name, I cut them off.They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In Yahweh’s name I indeed cut them off.They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In Yahweh’s name I cut them off.You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, but Yahweh helped me.

“ I have trodden the wine press alone. Of the peoples, no one was with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.

Through God we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.

Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets.

And the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that comes against us. We don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place.

Blessed be Yahweh, my rock, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to battle:
