He always loves those who keep his covenant. He always does what is right for those who remember to obey his commands.

Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.

Because of this, I always try to maintain a clear conscience before God and all people.

Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Then God said to Abraham,“ Your responsibility is to obey the terms of the covenant. You and all your descendants have this continual responsibility.This is the covenant that you and your descendants must keep: Each male among you must be circumcised.

They did not remain faithful to my covenant, so I turned my back on them, says the Lord.But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying,‘ You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already.And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”When God speaks of a“ new” covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.

Then Moses took the blood from the basins and splattered it over the people, declaring,“ Look, this blood confirms the covenant the Lord has made with you in giving you these instructions.”

How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word.I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands.I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today.Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

The king took his place of authority beside the pillar and renewed the covenant in the Lord’s presence. He pledged to obey the Lord by keeping all his commands, laws, and decrees with all his heart and soul. He promised to obey all the terms of the covenant that were written in the scroll.

Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous in God’s eyes, careful to obey all of the Lord’s commandments and regulations.

My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart.

So be careful not to break the covenant the Lord your God has made with you. Do not make idols of any shape or form, for the Lord your God has forbidden this.

Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more.
