But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children

惟敬畏耶和華、守其約、憶其律、而遵行者、耶和華之慈惠加之、其義施於子孫、自亙古至永久兮、

凡敬虔之士、守其約、從其命者、耶和華惟行仁義、必加矜憫、爰及子孫、自亙古迄季世兮、

敬畏主、恪守主約、思以遵行主法度者、

所恃我主。大慈大仁。千秋萬歲。常若和春。

But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—

But the Lord’ s love for those who have respect for him lasts for ever and ever. Their children’s children will know that he always does what is right.

But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children,

But from eternity to eternity the LORD’s faithful love is toward those who fear him, and his righteousness toward the grandchildren

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting for those who fear Him, And His justice to the children’s children,

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children,

But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children’s children;

But from eternity to eternity the Lord’s faithful love is toward those who fear Him, and His righteousness toward the grandchildren

But the mercy of the LORD[ is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

But the LORD continually shows loyal love to his faithful followers, and is faithful to their descendants,

But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children,

For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much,that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead.( It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.

For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time— to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago.We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His faithful love endures forever.He acted with a strong hand and powerful arm. His faithful love endures forever.Give thanks to him who parted the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.He led Israel safely through, His faithful love endures forever.but he hurled Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.Give thanks to him who led his people through the wilderness. His faithful love endures forever.Give thanks to him who struck down mighty kings. His faithful love endures forever.He killed powerful kings— His faithful love endures forever.Sihon king of the Amorites, His faithful love endures forever.and Og king of Bashan. His faithful love endures forever.God gave the land of these kings as an inheritance— His faithful love endures forever.a special possession to his servant Israel. His faithful love endures forever.He remembered us in our weakness. His faithful love endures forever.He saved us from our enemies. His faithful love endures forever.He gives food to every living thing. His faithful love endures forever.Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.

As for us, we can’t help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation— a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth.He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Look up to the skies above, and gaze down on the earth below. For the skies will disappear like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a piece of clothing. The people of the earth will die like flies, but my salvation lasts forever. My righteous rule will never end!

This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior.

I will sing of the Lord’s unfailing love forever! Young and old will hear of your faithfulness.Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.

Yet the Lord chose your ancestors as the objects of his love. And he chose you, their descendants, above all other nations, as is evident today.

Remember that Christ came as a servant to the Jews to show that God is true to the promises he made to their ancestors.

Long ago the Lord said to Israel:“ I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.

This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say,“ It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

“ Have you noticed what people are saying?—‘ The Lord chose Judah and Israel and then abandoned them!’ They are sneering and saying that Israel is not worthy to be counted as a nation.But this is what the Lord says: I would no more reject my people than I would change my laws that govern night and day, earth and sky.I will never abandon the descendants of Jacob or David, my servant, or change the plan that David’s descendants will rule the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead, I will restore them to their land and have mercy on them.”

“ And now we are here to bring you this Good News. The promise was made to our ancestors,and God has now fulfilled it for us, their descendants, by raising Jesus. This is what the second psalm says about Jesus:‘ You are my Son. Today I have become your Father.’For God had promised to raise him from the dead, not leaving him to rot in the grave. He said,‘ I will give you the sacred blessings I promised to David.’

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Let us, your servants, see you work again; let our children see your glory.

Don’t you remember, my people, how King Balak of Moab tried to have you cursed and how Balaam son of Beor blessed you instead? And remember your journey from Acacia Grove to Gilgal, when I, the Lord, did everything I could to teach you about my faithfulness.”

His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything he has done.

“ But as for you, Israel my servant, Jacob my chosen one, descended from Abraham my friend,

Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past.

“ A period of seventy sets of seven has been decreed for your people and your holy city to finish their rebellion, to put an end to their sin, to atone for their guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to confirm the prophetic vision, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

For I am ready to set things right, not in the distant future, but right now! I am ready to save Jerusalem and show my glory to Israel.
