In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

Oh, Lord GOD! You yourself made the heavens and earth by your great power and with your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for you!

Where were you when I established the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding.Who fixed its dimensions? Certainly you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it?What supports its foundations? Or who laid its cornerstonewhile the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
