希祿將提伯鐸祿之前夕、伯鐸祿身被二鏈、臥於二卒之中、戍者守之門外；忽有主之天神、立於其側、光耀滿室；拍伯鐸祿之脅、醒之曰：『速起！』鏈脫其手。天神復語之曰：『束帶、著履！』既如命、天神又曰：『披外衣、從予！』遂從之出。當時不知天神所行之事乃屬真境、猶以為幻象也。既過守所二重、乃至臨衢之鐵門、門自啟；出經一衢而天神杳然。伯鐸祿憬悟曰：『予今乃真知主遣天神援予於希祿之手、而脫我於猶太人之所冀也。』
