惟願求賢良。與我共國事。簡拔忠實徒。充我心腹吏。

My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.

I will look with favor on the faithful people in the land. They will live with me. Those whose lives are without blame will serve me.

I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.

But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to[ execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Blessed[ is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but[ this] one thing[ I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD.[ He that] sweareth to[ his own] hurt, and changeth not.

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will[ my] Father honour.

ALEPH. Blessed[ are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.Blessed[ are] they that keep his testimonies,[ and that] seek him with the whole heart.They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

The eyes of the LORD[ are] upon the righteous, and his ears[ are open] unto their cry.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am,[ there] ye may be also.
