LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

耶和华啊，谦卑人的心愿，你早已知道。你必预备他们的心，也必侧耳听他们的祈求，

耶和华啊，困苦人的心愿你早已听见；你必坚固他们的心，也必侧耳听他们的祈求，

耶和华啊，困苦人的心愿你早已听见；你必坚固他们的心，也必侧耳听他们的祈求，

耶和华啊，你知道困苦人的愿望，你必垂听他们的呼求，安慰他们。

耶和华啊！困苦人的心愿你已经听见，你必坚固他们的心，也必留心听他们的呼求；

耶和华啊，你垂听了卑微人的愿望！你使他们的心坚定；你侧耳倾听，

耶和華啊，謙卑人的心願，你早已知道。你必預備他們的心，也必側耳聽他們的祈求，

耶和華啊，困苦人的心願你早已聽見；你必堅固他們的心，也必側耳聽他們的祈求，

耶和華啊，你知道困苦人的願望，你必垂聽他們的呼求，安慰他們。

耶和華啊！困苦人的心願你已經聽見，你必堅固他們的心，也必留心聽他們的呼求；

永恆主啊，困苦人的心願你早已聽見；他們心中的悲歎你必側耳以聽，

耶和華啊，你垂聽了卑微人的願望！你使他們的心堅定；你側耳傾聽，

耶和華歟、謙卑者之祈、爾已聞之、必堅厥志、傾耳聽之、

貧者上祈、耶和華傾耳垂聽、而堅其志兮、

主歟、窮苦人所求者、主常垂聽、堅固其心、側耳聽其祈禱、

主已垂聽兮。謙者之音。必賜慰藉兮。堅固其心。

You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,

Lord, you hear the desires of those who are hurting. You cheer them up and give them hope. You listen to their cries.

O Lord, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear

Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.

LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble; you will strengthen their hearts. You will listen carefully,

Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will make Your ear attentive

Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear,

Jehovah, thou hast heard the desire of the meek: Thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear;

Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their hearts. You will listen carefully,

LORD, you have heard the request of the oppressed; you make them feel secure because you listen to their prayer.

Yahweh, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,

O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as[ his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.I tell you, this man went down to his house justified[ rather] than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Do not err, my beloved brethren.Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

For the eyes of the Lord[ are] over the righteous, and his ears[ are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord[ is] against them that do evil.

For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall[ not] perish for ever.

Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard[ thee] also, saith the LORD.

When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he[ was] God.

The eyes of the LORD[ are] upon the righteous, and his ears[ are open] unto their cry.

Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.

He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all[ of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue,[ is] from the LORD.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon[ him], and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from[ his] hands.And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and[ from] all the expectation of the people of the Jews.And when he had considered[ the thing], he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.And when she knew Peter’s voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened[ the door], and saw him, they were astonished.But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that[ they] should be put to death. And he went down from Judaea to Caesarea, and[ there] abode.

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.His heart[ is] established, he shall not be afraid, until he see[ his desire] upon his enemies.

The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Blessed[ are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was[ done] suddenly.

For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou[ art] God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The sacrifice of the wicked[ is] an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright[ is] his delight.
