But the Lord is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations cannot stand up to his wrath.

All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.

“ I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel. For he is the living God, and he will endure forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed, and his rule will never end.

Just as the Lord has destroyed other nations in your path, you also will be destroyed if you refuse to obey the Lord your God.

For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The Lord always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does.

“ After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.

For, At just the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of all kings and Lord of all lords.He alone can never die, and he lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach him. No human eye has ever seen him, nor ever will. All honor and power to him forever! Amen.

You drove out the pagan nations by your power and gave all the land to our ancestors. You crushed their enemies and set our ancestors free.They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.

You gave me victory over my accusers. You appointed me ruler over nations; people I don’t even know now serve me.As soon as they hear of me, they submit; foreign nations cringe before me.They all lose their courage and come trembling from their strongholds.

For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us.

The nations have fallen into the pit they dug for others. Their own feet have been caught in the trap they set.

The Lord will reign forever. He will be your God, O Jerusalem, throughout the generations. Praise the Lord!

The Lord is king! He is robed in majesty. Indeed, the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken.

But Lord, you remain the same forever! Your throne continues from generation to generation.

You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked; you have erased their names forever.

He drove out the nations before them; he gave them their inheritance by lot. He settled the tribes of Israel into their homes.
