Whoever remains stiff- necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed— without remedy.

Whoever still won’t obey after being warned many times will suddenly be destroyed. Nothing can save them.

He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.

Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery.

Because I have called, and you have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no one has paid attention;but you have ignored all my counsel, and wanted none of my reproof;I also will laugh at your disaster. I will mock when calamity overtakes you,when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when your disaster comes on like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come on you.Then they will call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me;because they hated knowledge, and didn’t choose the fear of Yahweh.They wanted none of my counsel. They despised all my reproof.Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own schemes.

I don’t speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen. But that the Scripture may be fulfilled,‘ He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.’

If one man sins against another, God will judge him; but if a man sins against Yahweh, who will intercede for him?” Notwithstanding, they didn’t listen to the voice of their father, because Yahweh intended to kill them.

to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.”

Jesus therefore answered,“ It is he to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.

Ahab said to Elijah,“ Have you found me, my enemy?” He answered,“ I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do that which is evil in Yahweh’s sight.Behold, I will bring evil on you, and will utterly sweep you away and will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, and him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah for the provocation with which you have provoked me to anger, and have made Israel to sin.”Yahweh also spoke of Jezebel, saying,“ The dogs will eat Jezebel by the rampart of Jezreel.

He also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God; but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart against turning to Yahweh, the God of Israel.

Micaiah said,“ If you return at all in peace, Yahweh has not spoken by me.” He said,“ Listen, all you people!”

Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe; but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly.

Yahweh, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending, because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place;but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until Yahweh’s wrath arose against his people, until there was no remedy.Therefore he brought on them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or gray- headed. He gave them all into his hand.

From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, these twenty- three years, Yahweh’s word has come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking; but you have not listened.Yahweh has sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them( but you have not listened or inclined your ear to hear),saying,“ Return now everyone from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that Yahweh has given to you and to your fathers, from of old and even forever more.

Jesus said to him,“ Someone who has bathed only needs to have his feet washed, but is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”For he knew him who would betray him, therefore he said,“ You are not all clean.”

For when they are saying,“ Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.

A certain man drew his bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to the driver of his chariot,“ Turn your hand, and carry me out of the battle; for I am severely wounded.”The battle increased that day. The king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, and died at evening. The blood ran out of the wound into the bottom of the chariot.A cry went throughout the army about the going down of the sun, saying,“ Every man to his city, and every man to his country!”So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.

Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness, and falling headlong, his body burst open, and all his intestines gushed out.

As he talked with him, the king said to him,“ Have we made you one of the king’s counselors? Stop! Why should you be struck down?” Then the prophet stopped, and said,“ I know that God has determined to destroy you, because you have done this, and have not listened to my counsel.”

Therefore tell them: Yahweh of Armies says:‘ Return to me,’ says Yahweh of Armies,‘ and I will return to you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.Don’t you be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying: Yahweh of Armies says,‘ Return now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings;’ but they didn’t hear, nor listen to me, says Yahweh.Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?But my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, didn’t they overtake your fathers?“ Then they repented and said,‘ Just as Yahweh of Armies determined to do to us, according to our ways, and according to our practices, so he has dealt with us.’”

Yahweh said,‘ Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ One said one thing; and another said another.A spirit came out and stood before Yahweh, and said,‘ I will entice him.’Yahweh said to him,‘ How?’ He said,‘ I will go out and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ He said,‘ You will entice him, and will also prevail. Go out and do so.’Now therefore, behold, Yahweh has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; and Yahweh has spoken evil concerning you.”

As they were eating, he said,“ Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”They were exceedingly sorrowful, and each began to ask him,“ It isn’t me, is it, Lord?”He answered,“ He who dipped his hand with me in the dish will betray me.The Son of Man goes, even as it is written of him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”Judas, who betrayed him, answered,“ It isn’t me, is it, Rabbi?” He said to him,“ You said it.”

therefore this iniquity shall be to you like a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly in an instant.He will break it as a potter’s vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing, so that there won’t be found among the broken pieces a piece good enough to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern.”

Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow bronze;

But they didn’t listen. They didn’t turn their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, and might not receive instruction.

It may be they will listen, and every man turn from his evil way; that I may relent from the evil which I intend to do to them because of the evil of their doings.’You shall tell them,“ Yahweh says:‘ If you will not listen to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,to listen to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I send to you, even rising up early and sending them, but you have not listened;
