寡婦的地界你不可挪移；孤兒的田地你不可進；

你不要挪移古時的地界，也不要侵入孤兒的田地；

昔時之田界勿徙、孤兒之田畝勿侵、

鄰里界址前人所定、毋行遷徙、孤子田畝、毋行侵奪。

勿遷移古時所定之田界、勿侵奪孤子之田畝、

Do not move an ancient boundary stone or encroach on the fields of the fatherless,

Don’t move old boundary stones. Don’t try to take over the fields of children whose fathers have died.

Don’t cheat your neighbor by moving the ancient boundary markers; don’t take the land of defenseless orphans.

Do not move an ancient boundary stone, or take over the fields of the fatherless,

Don’t move the ancient boundary stone. Don’t encroach on the fields of the fatherless,

Don’t move an ancient boundary marker that your ancestors set up.

“ Do not move your neighbor’s boundary marker, established at the start in the inheritance you will receive in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess.

Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the resident alien or the poor, and do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.’

‘ The one who moves his neighbor’s boundary marker is cursed.’ And all the people will say,‘ Amen!’

This is what the LORD says: Administer justice and righteousness. Rescue the victim of robbery from his oppressor. Don’t exploit or brutalize the resident alien, the fatherless, or the widow. Don’t shed innocent blood in this place.

No doubt you would cast lots for a fatherless child and negotiate a price to sell your friend.

Instead, if you really correct your ways and your actions, if you act justly toward one another,

Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

The wicked displace boundary markers. They steal a flock and provide pasture for it.They drive away the donkeys owned by the fatherless and take the widow’s ox as collateral.

“ I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the hired worker, the widow, and the fatherless; and against those who deny justice to the resident alien. They do not fear me,” says the LORD of Armies.

They kill the widow and the resident alien and murder the fatherless.

if I ever cast my vote against a fatherless child when I saw that I had support in the city gate,then let my shoulder blade fall from my back, and my arm be pulled from its socket.For disaster from God terrifies me, and because of his majesty I could not do these things.

The fatherless infant is snatched from the breast; the nursing child of the poor is seized as collateral.

You sent widows away empty-handed, and the strength of the fatherless was crushed.
