It is not good to show partiality to the wicked, Or to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

瞻徇恶人的情面，偏断义人的案件，都为不善。

偏袒恶人的情面，是不好的。审判时使义人受屈，也是不善。

顾及恶人的情面，实为不好；不向义人施行公正，也为不善。

It is not good to be partial to the wicked and so deprive the innocent of justice.

It isn’t good to favor those who do wrong. That would keep justice from those who aren’t guilty.

It is not good to be partial to the wicked or to deprive the righteous of justice.

It is not right to acquit the guilty or deny justice to the innocent.

It is not good to show partiality to the guilty, denying an innocent person justice.

To show partiality to the wicked is not good, Nor to suppress the righteous in judgment.

To respect the person of the wicked is not good, Nor to turn aside the righteous in judgment.

It is not good to show partiality to the guilty by perverting the justice due the innocent.

[ It is] not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

It is terrible to show partiality to the wicked, by depriving a righteous man of justice.

To be partial to the faces of the wicked is not good, nor to deprive the innocent of justice.

‘ You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

To show partiality is not good, Because for a piece of bread a man will transgress.

You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.

How long will you judge unjustly, And show partiality to the wicked? Selah

He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.

These things also belong to the wise: It is not good to show partiality in judgment.

She wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and seat Naboth with high honor among the people;and seat two men, scoundrels, before him to bear witness against him, saying,“ You have blasphemed God and the king.” Then take him out, and stone him, that he may die.So the men of his city, the elders and nobles who were inhabitants of his city, did as Jezebel had sent to them, as it was written in the letters which she had sent to them.They proclaimed a fast, and seated Naboth with high honor among the people.And two men, scoundrels, came in and sat before him; and the scoundrels witnessed against him, against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth has blasphemed God and the king!” Then they took him outside the city and stoned him with stones, so that he died.Then they sent to Jezebel, saying,“ Naboth has been stoned and is dead.”

“ Then I commanded your judges at that time, saying,‘ Hear the cases between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the stranger who is with him.You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid in any man’s presence, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.’

Yet He is not partial to princes, Nor does He regard the rich more than the poor; For they are all the work of His hands.

And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying,“ Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men.

Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away justice from the righteous man!

Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter.

Will you speak wickedly for God, And talk deceitfully for Him?Will you show partiality for Him? Will you contend for God?

That they may successfully do evil with both hands— The prince asks for gifts, The judge seeks a bribe, And the great man utters his evil desire; So they scheme together.
