It is terrible to show partiality to the wicked, by depriving a righteous man of justice.

It is not good to be partial to the wicked and so deprive the innocent of justice.

It isn’t good to favor those who do wrong. That would keep justice from those who aren’t guilty.

It is not good to be partial to the wicked or to deprive the righteous of justice.

It is not right to acquit the guilty or deny justice to the innocent.

It is not good to show partiality to the guilty, denying an innocent person justice.

To show partiality to the wicked is not good, Nor to suppress the righteous in judgment.

It is not good to show partiality to the wicked, Or to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

To respect the person of the wicked is not good, Nor to turn aside the righteous in judgment.

It is not good to show partiality to the guilty by perverting the justice due the innocent.

[ It is] not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

To be partial to the faces of the wicked is not good, nor to deprive the innocent of justice.

“‘ You must not deal unjustly in judgment: you must neither show partiality to the poor nor honor the rich. You must judge your fellow citizen fairly.

To show partiality is terrible, for a person will transgress over the smallest piece of bread.

You must not pervert justice or show favor. Do not take a bribe, for bribes blind the eyes of the wise and distort the words of the righteous.

He says,“ How long will you make unjust legal decisions and show favoritism to the wicked?( Selah)

The one who acquits the guilty and the one who condemns the innocent– both of them are an abomination to the LORD.

These sayings also are from the wise: To show partiality in judgment is terrible:

This is what she wrote:“ Observe a time of fasting and seat Naboth in front of the people.Also seat two villains opposite him and have them testify,‘ You cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”The men of the city, the leaders and the nobles who lived there, followed the written orders Jezebel had sent them.They observed a time of fasting and put Naboth in front of the people.The two villains arrived and sat opposite him. Then the villains testified against Naboth right before the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they dragged him outside the city and stoned him to death.Then they reported to Jezebel,“ Naboth has been stoned to death.”

I furthermore admonished your judges at that time that they should pay attention to issues among your fellow citizens and judge fairly, whether between one citizen and another or a citizen and a resident foreigner.They must not discriminate in judgment, but hear the lowly and the great alike. Nor should they be intimidated by human beings, for judgment belongs to God. If the matter being adjudicated is too difficult for them, they should bring it before me for a hearing.

who shows no partiality to princes, and does not take note of the rich more than the poor, because all of them are the work of his hands?

They sent to him their disciples along with the Herodians, saying,“ Teacher, we know that you are truthful, and teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You do not court anyone’s favor because you show no partiality.

They pronounce the guilty innocent for a payoff, they ignore the just cause of the innocent.

Justice is driven back; godliness stands far off. Indeed, honesty stumbles in the city square and morality is not even able to enter.

Will you speak wickedly on God’s behalf? Will you speak deceitfully for him?Will you show him partiality? Will you argue the case for God?

They are determined to be experts at doing evil; government officials and judges take bribes, prominent men make demands, and they all do what is necessary to satisfy them.
