To show partiality to the wicked is not good, Nor to suppress the righteous in judgment.

顾及恶人的情面，实为不好；不向义人施行公正，也为不善。

It is not good to be partial to the wicked and so deprive the innocent of justice.

It isn’t good to favor those who do wrong. That would keep justice from those who aren’t guilty.

It is not good to be partial to the wicked or to deprive the righteous of justice.

It is not right to acquit the guilty or deny justice to the innocent.

It is not good to show partiality to the guilty, denying an innocent person justice.

It is not good to show partiality to the wicked, Or to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

To respect the person of the wicked is not good, Nor to turn aside the righteous in judgment.

It is not good to show partiality to the guilty by perverting the justice due the innocent.

[ It is] not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

It is terrible to show partiality to the wicked, by depriving a righteous man of justice.

To be partial to the faces of the wicked is not good, nor to deprive the innocent of justice.

‘ You shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not show partiality to the poor nor give preference to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.

To show partiality is not good, Because for a piece of bread a man will do wrong.

You shall not distort justice, you shall not show partiality; and you shall not accept a bribe, because a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and distorts the words of the righteous.

How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah

One who justifies the wicked and one who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.

These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judgment is not good.

Now she had written in the letters, saying,“ Proclaim a fast and seat Naboth at the head of the people;and seat two worthless men opposite him, and have them testify against him, saying,‘ You cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”So the men of his city, the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did just as Jezebel had sent word to them, just as it was written in the letters which she had sent them.They proclaimed a fast, and seated Naboth at the head of the people.Then the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him; and the worthless men testified against him, against Naboth, before the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.Then they sent word to Jezebel, saying,“ Naboth has been stoned and is dead.”

“ Then I ordered your judges at that time, saying,‘ Hear the cases between your fellow countrymen and judge righteously between a person and his fellow countryman, or the stranger who is with him.You are not to show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You are not to be afraid of any person, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too difficult for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.’

Who shows no partiality to the prominent, Nor regards the rich as above the poor, Since they are all the work of His hands?

And they* sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying,“ Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and do not care what anyone thinks; for You are not partial to anyone.

Who declare the wicked innocent for a bribe, And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!

Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter.

Will you speak what is unjust for God, And speak what is deceitful for Him?Will you show partiality for Him? Will you contend for God?

As for evil, both hands do it well. The leader asks for a bribe, also the judge, And the great one speaks the capricious desire of his soul; So they plot it together.
