The LORD abhors the plans of the wicked, but pleasant words are pure.

邪惡的計謀、永恆主所厭惡；純潔的真言、上帝所喜悅。

惡人的意念，為耶和華所憎惡；恩慈的言語，卻是純淨的。

惡謀為耶和華所惡、良言純潔可愛、

惡念彼所深誅、良言彼所甚喜。

惡念主所厭惡、良言主視為潔、

The Lord detests the thoughts of the wicked, but gracious words are pure in his sight.

The Lord hates the thoughts of sinful people. But he considers kind words to be pure.

The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, but gracious words are pure.

The Lord detests evil plans, but he delights in pure words.

The LORD detests the plans of the one who is evil, but pleasant words are pure.

Evil plans are an abomination to the Lord, But pleasant words are pure.

Evil devices are an abomination to Jehovah; But pleasant words are pure.

The thoughts of the wicked[ are] an abomination to the LORD: but[ the words] of the pure[ are] pleasant words.

Yahweh detests the thoughts of the wicked, but the thoughts of the pure are pleasing.

There are six things that the LORD hates, even seven things that are an abomination to him:haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift to run to evil,a false witness who pours out lies, and a person who spreads discord among family members.

A foolish scheme is sin, and the scorner is an abomination to people.

“ Oh people of Jerusalem, purify your hearts from evil so that you may yet be delivered. How long will you continue to harbor up wicked schemes within you?

My heart is stirred by a beautiful song. I say,“ I have composed this special song for the king; my tongue is as skilled as the stylus of an experienced scribe.”

A person has joy in giving an appropriate answer, and a word at the right time– how good it is!

The godly speak wise words and promote justice.The law of their God controls their thinking; their feet do not slip.

May my words and my thoughts be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my sheltering rock and my redeemer.

Offspring of vipers! How are you able to say anything good, since you are evil? For the mouth speaks from what fills the heart.The good person brings good things out of his good treasury, and the evil person brings evil things out of his evil treasury.I tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
