Do not move an ancient boundary stone or encroach on the fields of the fatherless,

The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous stands firm.

The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

The Lord Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted( and they will be humbled),

Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin: He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living.

Do not move your neighbor’s boundary stone set up by your predecessors in the inheritance you receive in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess.

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,“ God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar.

But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory.

Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at all who are proud and bring them low,look at all who are proud and humble them, crush the wicked where they stand.Bury them all in the dust together; shroud their faces in the grave.

Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero? Why do you boast all day long, you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God?
