A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

For Jehovah your God, he is God of gods, and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the terrible, who regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward.He doth execute justice for the fatherless and widow, and loveth the sojourner, in giving him food and raiment.

Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;

God will likewise destroy thee for ever; He will take thee up, and pluck thee out of thy tent, And root thee out of the land of the living.[ Selah

Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor’s landmark, which they of old time have set, in thine inheritance which thou shalt inherit, in the land that Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess it.

Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.

For though Jehovah is high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly; But the haughty he knoweth from afar.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:

Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger; And look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand.Hide them in the dust together; Bind their faces in the hidden place.

Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of God endureth continually.
