One who increases his wealth by interest of any kind, Collects it for one who is gracious to the poor.

A person with an evil eye hurries after wealth And does not know that poverty will come upon him.

A good person leaves an inheritance to his grandchildren, And the wealth of a sinner is stored up for the righteous.Abundant food is in the uncultivated ground of the poor, But it is swept away by injustice.

Though he piles up silver like dust, And prepares garments as plentiful as the clay,He may prepare it, but the righteous will wear it And the innocent will divide the silver.

“ Will all of these not take up a song of ridicule against him, Even a saying and insinuations against him And say,‘ Woe to him who increases what is not his— For how long— And makes himself rich with debts!’Will your creditors not rise up suddenly, And those who collect from you awaken? Indeed, you will become plunder for them.

He swallows riches, But will vomit them up; God will expel them from his belly.

When you eat the fruit of the labor of your hands, You will be happy and it will go well for you.
