Evildoers are trapped by their sinful talk, and so the innocent escape trouble.

Those who do evil are trapped by their sinful talk. But those who have done no wrong escape trouble.

An evil man is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, but the righteous escapes from trouble.

The wicked are trapped by their own words, but the godly escape such trouble.

By rebellious speech an evil person is trapped, but a righteous person escapes from trouble.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? It is good that you grasp this, And also not remove your hand from the other; For he who fears God will escape them all.
