斯時呼籲我、我弗應、切尋我、而弗得、

斯時籲我、而我弗聽、竭力求恩、而不可得。

斯時呼籲我而我不應、尋求我而不得遇、

“ Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me,

“ When they cry for help, I will not answer. Though they anxiously search for me, they will not find me.

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Will God hear his cry When trouble comes upon him?

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.”

Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen,” says the Lord of hosts.

When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.“ Afterward the other virgins came also, saying,‘ Lord, Lord, open to us!’But he answered and said,‘ Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you in that day.”

Many will say to Me in that day,‘ Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’And then I will declare to them,‘ I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

They cried out, but there was none to save; Even to the Lord, but He did not answer them.

There they cry out, but He does not answer, Because of the pride of evil men.

When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying,‘ Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you,‘ I do not know you, where you are from,’then you will begin to say,‘ We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’But He will say,‘ I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out.

I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

When He slew them, then they sought Him; And they returned and sought earnestly for God.Then they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer.Nevertheless they flattered Him with their mouth, And they lied to Him with their tongue;

And the Lord said,“ My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”

I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.“ O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you? For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud, And like the early dew it goes away.
