Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me— put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Do what you have learned or received or heard from me. Follow my example. The God who gives peace will be with you.

Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk,— that ye abound more and more.For ye know what charge we gave you through the Lord Jesus.For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication;that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor,not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God;that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification.Therefore he that rejecteth, rejecteth not man, but God, who giveth his Holy Spirit unto you.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which they received of us.For yourselves know how ye ought to imitate us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;neither did we eat bread for nought at any man’s hand, but in labor and travail, working night and day, that we might not burden any of you:not because we have not the right, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you, that ye should imitate us.For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, If any will not work, neither let him eat.

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected; be comforted; be of the same mind; live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Every one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock:and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.And every one that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.

teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

And ye became imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit;

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.Give no occasion of stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the church of God:even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.Be ye imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, even our Lord Jesus,make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well- pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.

For ye, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judæa in Christ Jesus: for ye also suffered the same things of your own countrymen, even as they did of the Jews;

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command.

but having suffered before and been shamefully treated, as ye know, at Philippi, we waxed bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God in much conflict.For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:but even as we have been approved of God to be intrusted with the gospel, so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God who proveth our hearts.For neither at any time were we found using words of flattery, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness, God is witness;nor seeking glory of men, neither from you nor from others, when we might have claimed authority as apostles of Christ.But we were gentle in the midst of you, as when a nurse cherisheth her own children:even so, being affectionately desirous of you, we were well pleased to impart unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were become very dear to us.For ye remember, brethren, our labor and travail: working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and righteously and unblamably we behaved ourselves toward you that believe:as ye know how we dealt with each one of you, as a father with his own children, exhorting you, and encouraging you, and testifying,to the end that ye should walk worthily of God, who calleth you into his own kingdom and glory.

But he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these that hear the word of God, and do it.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.

His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

but rise, and enter into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, God with us.

The Lord be with thy spirit. Grace be with you.

Ye are my friends, if ye do the things which I command you.

fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

Take counsel together, and it shall be brought to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
