Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another;not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;contributing to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality.Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men.If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written,“ Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”Therefore“ If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.”Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

Having regard for honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue,by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge;and in knowledge, self- control; and in self- control perseverance; and in perseverance godliness;and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.

Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.Abstain from every form of evil.

Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.

having good behavior among the nations, so in that of which they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they see, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.

but given to hospitality, a lover of good, sober minded, fair, holy, self- controlled,

for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently,

Let’s walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy.

Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

A righteous man walks in integrity. Blessed are his children after him.

that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance:

Let our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.

And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

Now I pray to God that you do no evil; not that we may appear approved, but that you may do that which is honorable, though we are as reprobate.

If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.Love never fails. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.But now faith, hope, and love remain— these three. The greatest of these is love.

Their wives in the same way must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, and faithful in all things.

The way of the just is uprightness. You who are upright make the path of the righteous level.

They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying,“ Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach, for you aren’t partial to anyone.

Give her of the fruit of her hands! Let her works praise her in the gates!

for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority,

You shall follow that which is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

We have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the Good News is known throughout all the assemblies.

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord! To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not tiresome, but for you it is safe.

but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

the elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity.

one who rules his own house well, having children in subjection with all reverence;

by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;

Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives. In their death, they were not divided. They were swifter than eagles. They were stronger than lions.

Now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do to you all that you say; for all the city of my people knows that you are a worthy woman.

A worthy woman is the crown of her husband, but a disgraceful wife is as rottenness in his bones.

Therefore select from among you, brothers, seven men of good report, full of the Holy Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another.

“ Many women do noble things, but you excel them all.”

Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies.

Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you,

For by this, the elders obtained testimony.

He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Honest balances and scales are Yahweh’s; all the weights in the bag are his work.
