Now I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement.

I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.

Here is what I’m asking Euodia and Syntyche to do. I’m asking them to work together in the Lord. That’s because they both belong to the Lord.

I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord.

I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to agree in the Lord.

I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to live in harmony in the Lord.

I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to be of the same mind in the Lord.

I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to agree in the Lord.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

I appeal to Euodia and to Syntyche to agree in the Lord.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.

I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.For the Scriptures say,“ If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.

Salt is good for seasoning. But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? You must have the qualities of salt among yourselves and live in peace with each other.”

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ.That is why the Scriptures say,“ When he ascended to the heights, he led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to his people.”

Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.

How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe.Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.

Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. And live peacefully with each other.

But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.

So Joseph sent his brothers off, and as they left, he called after them,“ Don’t quarrel about all this along the way!”
